Mr. Freeze has been busy acquiring diamonds ("ice" - get it?), and kidnaps star pitcher Paul Diamante. Batman trades himself for Diamante, and Robin grills the pitcher before running off, leaving him to get untied by his own devices. First, though, Robin advises him not to hurt his pitching arm.
