Jeff runs into John Dehner and his gang at a deserted farmhouse; the gang decides to leave him tied up in the attic. Of course, the farmhouse becomes the Grand Central Station of the countryside, with visits from children playing, prospective home buyers, a snake and Lee Van Cleef. After none of them see fit to untie him, it begins to rain. Jeff manages to dislodge his gag, catching the leaking rainwater in his mouth and spitting it at the leather straps to loosen them. He gets untied just in time to shoot Van Cleef and get the girl.
